Four Of Michael J. Fox’s Kids Have Announced The News
that being a father is the most meaningful role of his life. He has been married to actress Tracy Pollan since 1988, and together they have four children: Sam, twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and the youngest, Esmé.
Fox once joked in an interview with Reader’s Digest that having four kids sometimes feels like five — a sign of how lively and full his household has been. Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991 at the young age of 29, Fox has always prioritized his role as a father. He shared a powerful piece of parenting advice:
“Always be available to your kids. Because if you say, ‘Give me five minutes,’ it’ll be 15, it’ll be 20. And then when you get there, the shine will have worn off whatever it is they wanted to share with you.”
